Wash Force installs and maintains Christmas lights across Central Wisconsin, and this is our first season offering it. We own the lights, we hang them, we take them down, and we store them until next year. You never buy a strand, climb a ladder, or find somewhere to keep four bins of tangled wire in July.
Every install starts with a visit. We look at your roofline, your trees and the way the house sits, and we design a layout for that specific property. There is no standard package we drop on every house.
It is one price for the season. Design, installation, takedown, storage, and any service call in between are all included. If a section goes dark in December, we come out and fix it, and that is not a separate charge.
What the season includes
Residential and commercial both. A storefront that wants a lit roofline and garland over the entrance is the same conversation as a house.
Book early. Installs run end of October into early November, and the schedule is set by how many jobs are already on it. The houses lit first are the ones that called first.
Starting at $800
That covers the whole season: design, the lights, installation, service calls, takedown and storage. Most jobs run $1,000 to $1,500 depending on rooflines, stories and how many trees you want lit.
The lights you can buy at a big box store are built for one or two seasons. Ours are commercial grade, and because we own them, maintaining them is our problem rather than yours. We store them through the year, check them before they go back up, and replace what has failed.
It also solves the part most people actually dislike. Nobody minds how a lit house looks in December. What they mind is standing on a ladder in November, and finding a box of half dead strands in the garage the following year.
Installation runs from the end of October into early November. Doing it before the hard freeze is deliberate. Clips seat properly on a dry roof, and nobody is working on ice.
Takedown begins in January. We will not give you a fixed date for it, and that is on purpose. If the roof is frozen or snowed in, we wait for it to warm up, which sometimes means February or March. Taking lights off an iced roof on a schedule is how people get hurt and how shingles get damaged. Your lights stay maintained and insured the whole time, and there is no extra charge for the wait.
Christmas light installation starts at $800 for the season. Most jobs land between $1,000 and $1,500.
The number moves on the things you would expect: how much roofline you want covered, how many stories, how many trees and bushes, and how reachable the roof is. A single story ranch with a lit front roofline sits at the bottom of that range. A two story house with trees, wreaths and timers sits at the top.
That price covers the entire season, not just the install day. Design, the lights themselves, installation, any service calls, takedown and storage are all in it.
