Athens Business and Home Exterior Cleaning
Athens is a Marathon County village about 28 miles north of our Marshfield shop. It is farm country, with a small industrial park on the south side of the village.
How is commercial pressure washing priced?
We do not publish a commercial rate, because no two buildings are the same job.
Commercial pressure washing is priced per building, based on size and scope. Some jobs price by square footage and some by time and materials. A small storefront and a full warehouse wash are different jobs, so we quote each one.
To get an accurate quote quickly, put these in your request:
- What the building is: a shop, an office, a warehouse, an industrial building.
- Roughly how big, and how many stories.
- What you want cleaned: the building exterior, sidewalks, the parking lot, signage, or windows.
- Anything unusual about access, like a fenced yard or a high wall over a loading area.
For commercial window cleaning, story count, glass count and access are what move the number.
Homes in Athens
About a quarter of the homes in Athens date from 1939 or earlier and more than four in ten from before 1960; half were built before about 1966.
Those older homes get a gentle, low-pressure wash, with biodegradable solutions that are safe for gardens, pets and local wildlife. The pressure stays on the concrete, where our power washing handles driveways, patios, sidewalks and curbs.
Athens weather
About 8 miles from Athens, the closest weather station averages about 51 inches of snow and about 33 inches of rain and melted snow a year, with snow on the ground about 110 days. Clogged gutters can force water back into the shingles or behind the siding, so have them cleared before that snow arrives. We flush them out, downspouts included, and take after pictures so you can see the result from the ground.
